Who joined the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral home July1, 1988 as a Funeral director and served as Vice-President until the death of Mr. Leahy June 22, 1998. Bernie as he is known throughout the community has taken the funeral home to a new level of personalization and service to each family always staying a step ahead of the changes to the funeral profession. Quoted as saying “ If we don't offer our families every option available then were not doing our job”. In other words cookie cutter funerals are a thing of the Past, each funeral we provide needs to be unique and personalized to the family or to their loved one that we are honoring. We look at a funeral as a celebration of ones life and focus on their personal contributions and achievements in life. Everyone deserves a meaningful funeral! |
