Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday February 6th from 3-6 PM.

A funeral procession will form Friday February 7th 10 AM at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM St. Joseph's Church.

Entombment will follow at Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum.

Aaron B. Childers , born on September 1, 1944, in Hudson, New York, passed away peacefully at his home on January 24, 2025. He was 80 years old.

Aaron is survived by his devoted wife, Maria Viviani, and his beloved dog, Bella. He leaves behind two sons: Dean Childers and his wife Laurie, and Timothy Childers and his wife Tina. He is also remembered with love by his aunt Rose Storms and uncle Earl Williams. Aaron's legacy extends to numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He was predeceased by his mother, Gladys Gamache and his sister Betty Stoddard.

Aaron's life was marked by hard work and determination. He began his career as a mechanic and tractor trailer driver. Later he became a tugboat engineer before following his entrepreneurial spirit to establish a trucking and transport business—a venture that brought him immense pride and fulfillment. Later in life, he concluded his professional journey as an operating engineer for Thomas J. Feeney Enterprises.

Known for his kind heartedness and generosity of spirit, Aaron brought warmth into the lives of those around him. His gentle nature made him a source of comfort to many, while his presence illuminated the moments shared with family and friends alike.

May the memory of Aaron B. Childers bring solace to those who mourn him and serve as a lasting inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
