A funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Inurnment will follow in Union Cemetery of Lloyd

Aaron R. Williams, Sr., 82, of Lake Katrine passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 19, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 28, 1942 in Kingston, a son of the late Russell Aaron Williams and Mae (Turner) Williams.

Aaron served our country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He returned home and worked for over thirty years for the Kingston Housing Authority in the maintenance department. He was an avid hunter, who enjoyed traveling and camped often for the past twenty years with his wife Diane. He also loved country music, especially Johnny Cash, he adored his pets and enjoyed a fresh bag of Ruffles potato chips.

Surviving is his wife of fifty-one years Diane M Williams, children Aaron Russell Williams, Jr. and his wife Holly Sue of Lake Katrine, Dina Marie Overbey of Kingston, Tammy-Lynn M. Anderson and her husband Andy of Kingston, Russell Aaron Williams II and his wife Katie of Milton. Grandchildren Ashlee, Robert, Shawn, Codi, Jordan, Anthony, Chaise, Kye, Sawyer, Avery and Ryder, three great grandchildren with one on the way. He is also survived by his mother in law Alvina Monfett, and longtime friend Judy Joyce and her husband Vincent as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his grandson Michael Rougier and two sisters Mary Williams and Mildred Soukup.
