Ada Mae Jeune

As per Ada's wishes, there will be no services held.

A private memorial will be held for the family at a later date.

Ada Mae Jeune, 83, of Mount Marion, died Monday, March 6, 2023 in Northern Dutchess Hospital. Born December 29, 1939 in Catskill, New York, she is the daughter of the late Leon and Louise (Young) Jeune.

Ada was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart. Nothing made her happier than being Nan. Anyone who knew Ada knew how selfless and loving she was. She opened her home to many children over the years and anyone who entered her home, came to know her as Nan.

Ada is survived by Joseph Weber and her children; Jerry Sloan and his wife Anette, Paul Sloan and his wife Mia, Kimberly Sloan, Jodi Weishaupt and her husband Ryan, Jennifer Weber and Bobbie-Jo Weber. Her brothers, James and Lyle Jeune, 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents, Ada is predeceased by her daughter, Vicki LaPeruta, and her siblings; Viva Smith, Leah Jeune and Leon Jeune.
