Angelo Secreto

Angelo Secreto, 71, retired veteran of Highland, NY, formally of Kingston, NY, passed away on Monday, March 3rd, 2025 at the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury in Lake Katrine, NY. He was born on September 6, 1953 in Kingston, NY. He was the son of the late Victor Carmelina Secreto (Garofalo).

He graduated from the Kingston High School in 1972 and entered into the US Air Force as a security police. He was stationed at the Nellis Air Force base in Las Vegas, Nevada and also Germany. Angelo was an avid poetry writer. His writer name was "the true nobleman" He completed two books and was mentioned in the "Best Love Poems of American People Book." Angelo had retired from various employments, one being from the Ulster County Infirmary, located on Route 32 in Kingston, NY, known today as Golden Hill. He loved to travel. he loved pets, especially his dog Sammy. He loved listening to a variety of music and followed his favorite sports teams, the Atlanta Braves and the Detroit Lions.

Angelo is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ellen Secreto, his brothers Michael in Virginia and Joseph (India) of Rosendale, NY, and his three nieces Jessica, InJolina, and ArJalia, as well as many cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two sisters, Laura and Victoria Secreto.
