Anna Marie Dyer, 103 , formerly of Columbia Street Town of Ulster died Wednesday February 19, 2025 at TenBroeck Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born July 22, 1921 in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Irving H. and Edith M. (Peterson) Brown. She was the third oldest of six children.

Anna was the manager Corner Washerette in the Town of Ulster. She was the only "Surviving Origanizor" of the Ladies Auxiliary of Ulster Hose Co. #5. She and her husband opened their home to their brothers and sisters to help them get started in life with their family's. Raising their family, she also helped family and cousins, by baby sitting their children from birth to school age. In 1973 she ran the  "Corner Washerette Laundrymat" until 2009.

Anna is survived by her children Joan E. Stopczynski (Joseph Sr.), Anna M. Colbert, son in law Vincent Reilly and brother Edgar L. Brown. Grandchildren; Michael J. Stopczynski, Joseph J. Stoczynski Jr., Melissa J. Ramirez, Kellene L. Rifenburgh (Don), Kyle I Reilly (Erica), Amanda A. Dyer and Travis T. Dyer. Great-grandchildren; Chloe J. Ramirez, Jaden N. Ramirez, Reilly D. Riffenburgh, Abigail I. Weidner, Caleb D. Weidner and Brayden C. Reilly. She was the God Mother to Sharon Perna, Harry L. Hill Jr. and Gary R. Boice, many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Dyer Sr. (1972) whom she wed on June 16, 1940 and her son Joseph J. Dyer Jr., daughter Patricia Reilly and son in law Patrick Colbert, brothers William, George, Irving Jr., and sister Pearl.
