A funeral service will take place at 7 PM.

Anna Shurgalla, of Kingston died Thursday June 19, 2025, at Westchester Medical Center. She was born July 22, 1963 in Kingston a daughter of Doris (Cogswell) Snow and the late Albert Snow Sr.

She was a graduate of Kingston High School, Class of 1981. She worked at Adirondack Trailways for many years She was the president of Eastern States Electrical Supply in Kingston. She was a lifetime resident of Kingston. She married her high school sweetheart in Nov of 1983.

She was the neighborhood mother when her children were growing up. She was a devoted mother who sacrificed her own ambitions to help raise her beloved children. Her unwavering love and support helped shape them into who they are today. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Her grandchildren kept her going during her time of illness. She loved to read and do color by numbers.

Surviving is her husband Richard Shurgalla, children, Stephanie Shurgalla, Courtney Shurgalla, and Andrew Shurgalla (Norma Campbell), her grandchildren: Glenn Bryant, Anthony Shurgalla, Ashtin Shurgalla, Liam Shurgalla, Arya Rotella, her brothers, Richard, Anthony, and Albert Snow Jr. Nieces and her Godson Greg Apelles as well as her mother-in-law Lorraine Merrihew also survive.
