Of John Street  died at Montefiore  Nyack  Hospital on Friday April 10, 2026.

Anthony was born in Easton, PA on March 27, 1965, a son of the late Irene (Slingland)  and Joseph J. Gilbert, Sr.

He was employed by Gasko and Myer Distributors in Lake Huntington as a salesman. Tony also was a Bartender in area taverns and restaurants. He enjoyed riding his Harley, going camping, traveling, and cooking.

Surviving are his wife Carol (Hutton) Gilbert. Son Tyler James Gilbert. Seven stepchildren; Windy Cesana Keesler,Shannon Cesana, Erica Angel Cesana, Ernest Alenson Cesana, Jessica Robins Cesana, Jaime Lee Cesana.  Siblings; Tammy L. Puppolo and her husband Chip, Tina Marie Altenau and her husband Richard, Bruce Gilbert and his wife Pam, Tonia Prosser and her husband Walter, Retired Sergeant Lance Gilbert. 13 Grandchildren also survive, one of whom predeceases him.

In addition to his parents he was predecesad by two brothers Joseph and Dusty Gilbert.
