Arnold Buley

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday June 20th from 3-7 PM.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Woodstock.

Arnold Buley, 86 , of Saugerties passed away Monday June 16, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born January 7, 1939 in Kingston a son of the late Harold Buley and Kathleen (Phillips) Buley.

Mr. Buley began his career with New York City Department of Water Supply, based out of Shokan as a laborer and retired after many years as a plumber. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was a member of the Rip Van Winkle Rod & Gun Club, the Grahamsville Rod & Gun Club, the Sandy Pond Sportsmen's Association, and the Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs of Sullivan County-where he was named Sportsman of the Year in 2022.

Surviving is his wife Wilhelmina Buley, children Rickie Buley, Sr., Karen Krom and her husband Stephen, Gary Buley, Sr. and his wife Lynn Delaney-Buley, eleven grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, and four great great grandchilren also survive. He is also survived by his siblings Beverly Roebuck, Irving Buley, Louise Clark, Bruce Buley and Roger Buley. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Arnold Buley, Jr. and siblings Barbara Chase, Linda Moore, Barry Buley, Harold Buley and Gloria Reed.
