Barbara Lee Aumand - Hart

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday January 11, 2024 from 4 to 7 PM.

A funeral service will begin at 7 PM.

Barbara Lee Aumand-Hart, 68, of Kingston, NY passed away on January 7, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born May 1, 1955 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of William M. Aumand Sr. and the late Joan (Wilson) Aumand.

Barbara graduated from Kingston High School in 1973 and received a degree in Business from Ulster County Community College, Stone Ridge, NY in 1975.  She worked for Shop-Rite for many years before retiring.

Survived by her devoted husband of fifteen years, William "Bill" Hart, whom she married on July 9, 2008.  She is also survived by her three loving siblings, Sister Joann Marie Aumand, S.C.C., of Mendham, NJ;  William M. Aumand Jr. and his wife Lisa of Ferguson, NC and Carole Lynn Aumand-Stopczynski and her husband Richard of Kingston and many nieces, nephews and step-children.

In addition to her mother, Barbara was predeceased by her first husband Richard "Dick" Tobey.
