Barbara Boris
Barbara Boris , beloved teacher and founder of the Woodstock Yoga Center, passed unexpectedly on November 15 at age 66 after recent surgery.
Born in the California bay area and active in the punk music scene, she eventually moved to New York City in the '80s. After a life-changing trip to India, she became certified in Sivananda, Jivamukti and Iyengar schools.
She is survived by her life partner Martin Brading, sister Shelley (Michele) Lytle and cat Billi.
