Beverly B. Goerke

Friends are invited to visit at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Livingston Street in Kingston on Wednesday January 7, 2026 from 10am to 11am. A Funeral Service will begin at 11am.

Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.

Beverly B. Goerke , 94, of Ulster passed away at Health Alliance Hospital on December 29, 2025. Born August 18, 1931 in Cornwall, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Whitman) Brunton.

Beverly was an LPN in pediatrics at Benedictine Hospital for many years and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed going to Vermont and the seashore, especially Rhode Island where they would go camping and digging for clams.

Beverly is survived by her husband John H. Goerke, her children: John R. (Linda) Goerke and Deborah (Jack) Smith, and her grandchildren: Lorna Nyland, Adrienne Goerke, and Kimberly Jones, and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother William Brunton and sister Ruth Bonesteel.
