Beverly Saltis, 84 , of Kingston, passed away peacefully at home on February 7, 2026, surrounded by love and with her granddaughter Andrea by her side. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edna and Bruno Kluepfel.
Beverly loved traveling with her husband John, from cherished trips to Florida to spend time with family Kimmie, Robin, Mike, Bradley, and Lexi, especially her joyful visits to Epcot and Disney's Animal Kingdom, to their memorable adventures in Hawaii and the Virgin Islands aboard Princess Cruises. She took great pride in the many projects she completed around her home, both inside and out, lovingly caring for the childhood home that holds so many memories for five generations now. Bev also loved tuning in to Warren Lawrence on WKNY and attending The Dutchess County Fair. One of Beverly's sweetest traditions was making tissue and lipstick flowers with her granddaughter Andrea for Girl Scout swaps, a craft that became a cherished memory for them both.
Beverly is survived by her daughter Jean (Brian) Vincent; grandchildren Matthew (Elizabeth) Vincent, Andrea (Joseph) Harkins, and Patricia Vincent; great‑grandchildren Gabriel and Keagan Carr, Baylee and Emma Jakaitis, Amethyst, Dominick, Charlie, Kaleb, Jakob, Isaac Harkins, and Mathias and Kayla Vincent. Beverly is also survived by her cherished brother Joe Kluepfel (Adele) of Holiday, FL; her niece Heather and her husband Adam, their children Lydia and Jackson of Saugerties; former sister-in-law Carol (John) of Saugerties; loving family in Florida; many dear cousins and family friends, John and Joyce.
In addition to her parents, Beverly is predeceased by her husband John Saltis; her beloved pets Bonnie, Max, and Mr. Mittens; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family extends their sincerest heartfelt gratitude to Bev's hospice team Kevin, Ashley, Jennifer, Annika, Angela and Ben; home health aides Assyia and Champagne and private aide Marie for their exceptional care and support. The compassion and dedication they showed went far beyond their roles and brought our family comfort in every moment.
