Beverly Ann Sperath, 71, formerly of Lawrenceville Street in Ulster, passed away on February 24, 2026, at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on December 19, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Francis W. and Viola (Barley) Churchwell. Beverly was a lifelong resident of Kingston and a 1972 graduate of Kingston High School.
Beverly loved all kinds of music and found great joy in being surrounded by her pets, nature, and the wildlife around her. She was especially fond of cowboy and classic western movies. She also enjoyed reading and doing puzzles, and pizza was her favorite food. Beverly had a sharp sense of humor and was fiercely independent, yet at her core she had the heart of a child.
She worked for many years as a home health aide and also served as an aide with ARC Mid-Hudson when it was known as UARC.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Sperath; her son, John Sperath; and her brothers, Bruce Churchwell and Francis W. Churchwell Jr. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Vernon Churchwell.
