Bruce Allen Margopoulos

Bruce Allen Margopoulos, 72, of Kingston passed away at Health Alliance Hospital on September 10, 2025. Born on May 19, 1953, in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of the late Margaret (Barnecut) and William Margopoulos.

For many years, Bruce worked as a printer at Maar Printing in Poughkeepsie.

A true "summertime guy," Bruce was happiest by the pool, on the porch, or with his toes in the sand at Point Pleasant Beach, a tradition he looked forward to every year. He was also an avid Facebook user who cherished his online "family and friends" and the connections he made there. Above all, he was a proud father and grandfather, celebrating all of their accomplishments. He found simple joys in life, from feeding the birds and dancing to his favorite music to cooking for loved ones on the grill.

He is survived by his beloved husband, Steve Tesoriero, and his children, Heather Royer, Jared Margopoulos, and Briana Downer. He is also survied by his sisters: Marla and Marlee.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Matt, Barry, and Bradford Margopoulos; and his cherished canine companions, Dutchess, Doogie, and Rudy.
