Chanise Evans

Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday March 27th from 1:30-2:30 PM. A Homegoing celebration will be held at 2:30.

Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.

Chanise Evans, 65 , formerly of Wiltwyck Gardens died Tuesday March 17, 2026 at Westchester Medical Center after a long illness. She was born February 22, 1961 in Kingston a daughter of the late Pearl (Hunter Hill) and James Evans.

Chanise was employed by Hannaford in the Kingston Plaza before her illness. In her earlier years she was athletic and enjoyed basketball, darts, pool and socializing with friends.

Surviving are her siblings Clarence Hunter, Jimmie Hymes, Linette "Pearl" Moore, Esther Hancock, Margaret "Margie" Marable-Knox, host of nieces of nephews.

Valerie Davis, Dennis Harrison predeceased her, predeceased by mother Pearl (Hunter) Hill.
