Charles V. Sangaline

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday April 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM St. Colman Church East Kingston.

Charles V. Sangaline formerly of East Kingston, New York died in the care of Hospice at Sunrise at Decatur on Saturday  April 1, 2023.  Born in Kingston January 27, 1945 a son of the late Edward and Erma (Nardi) Sangaline. In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by a brother Joseph Sangaline.

He is survived by a brother Edward Sangaline (Doreen), sister Erma Moore (Conrad), sister-in-law Lynne Sangaline, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles was a graduate of Kingston High School Class of 1963, UCCC and SUNY New Paltz with BS degree in Mathematics. He resided in Virginia for fifty years and returned to Kingston often to visit family and  friends. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Springfield, VA.

He served as an officer in the US Army and was employed in the Washington, DC metro area. He worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Drug Enforcement Agency and retired from the United States Marshall Services. For many years he was a member of the First Capital Corvette Club of Kingston. He enjoyed attending car shows, reminiscing about growing up in East Kingston, playing tennis, boating and was passionate about playing golf after retirement.
