Claudia Mehm

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am to 12 noon. 

A prayer service will be held at 12 noon, followed by burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Claudia J. Mehm, died at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Friday August 21, 2026,she was seventy nine years of age. Claudia was born in Kingston, NY on May 18, 1947, a daughter of the late Laura (Fowler) and Edmund Musialkiewicz.

She was a graduate of New Paltz College. Employed by the Kingston School District. She taught Art in all grades at the Miller Junior High School.

Surviving are her husband Joseph F. Mehm. Claudia and Joe did not have children. They were fortunate to have Kim Hoy-Baker in their lives since she was a student at Miller School. Kim was a daughter they never had. Claudia is also survived by many friends including Judy Gaidies and family, Tony and Paula Orzo and family, Nick and Linda Barash and family, Jane Melville and family, Jim Countryman and family. Nieces, nephews, cousins and many other friends who meant the world to Claudia and Joe also survive. She was predeceased by her sister Diane.
