Cynthia "Cindy" Weeks Fuoco, 65, of Putt Lane, Kingston, peacefully left this world on the morning of September 16, 2026, at Hudson Valley Hospice House in Hyde Park, NY. She bravely fought, a twenty year battle against breast cancer. Cindy, was born on December 19, 1960, in Kingston, NY, and is the daughter of Dolores (Smith) Weeks, and the late Floyd Weeks, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Louis M. Fuoco, and their four children Noelle Fuoco (Mark Miller) of Santa Clarita, Ca; Chantelle Fuoco (Thomas Rotenberg) of Brooklyn, NY; Gabrielle Fuoco (Matthew Winschel) of Westbrook, CT; and Saverio Fuoco of Kingston, NY. She is also survived by two precious grandchildren that she adored, Nicholas Miller, and Holly Miller of Santa Clarita, Ca. She is survived by her sister Debora (William) Kahmke of Samsonville, NY; her brother Donald (Denise) Weeks of Columbus, OH; and brother in law Brian (Michelle) Fuoco of Hampstead, NH. She is also survived by many cousins, and nieces and nephews. Cindy graduated Kingston High School in 1979 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In 1981, Cindy graduated Ulster County Community College as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a nurse locally at both the Kingston and Benedictine Hospitals, and Golden Hill Nursing Home. She was married to Louis M. Fuoco, on July 10, 1982. They moved to Washington, DC, where she practiced nursing at Camelot Hall nursing home, and Arlington Hospital. In 1986, when her husband entered the Air Force, she moved to Homestead AFB, Fl. She practiced nursing at Baptist Hospital in Miami, Fl.

Cindy worked in many different fields of nursing, including medical/surgical, oncology, labor and delivery, but she most enjoyed geriatric nursing. In 1990 they moved to Loring AFB, ME. Cindy enthusiastically devoted her life to raising their four beautiful children. In 1992, they returned to Kingston to raise their children. Cindy frequently volunteered in many of her children's school and extracurricular activities, serving as a room Mom for many years, Brownie Leader, school trip chaperone, and soccer coach, just to name a few. She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's dental practice for many years. Once her children were grown, she worked in her husband's practice, as his office manager for 10 years. Cindy enjoyed hosting family gatherings, especially around the holidays, crafting, gardening, and watching many genres of movies. She had a very special love for animals, especially her dogs Googie, Bella, and Layla. She also loved the ocean and palm trees, and spent many family vacations at the beach. She and her husband celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in Maui, HI. Cindy also enjoyed traveling, and visited many, many states across our beautiful country, and also Canada, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and Jamaica.
