Daniel John Stingel

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

DANIEL JOHN STINGEl, of Carly Road. A beloved brother and friend to many, died at Westchester Medical Center Valhalla, NY on Tuesday February 18, 2025. Born in Kingston April 18, 1957 a son of the late  Alfred and Florence (Haurand) Stingel.

Dan was a chef working at various establishments in the area, including; The Emerson and Catskill Mountain Pizza. An Outdoorsman, he hiked the Catskills and fished the reservoir.  Dan was the most simple, genuine, humble, and simply happy man around, always had a smile on his face and always found the positive in most situations. He always tried to make everyone around him happy. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are his three brothers; Robert Stingel of Altamont, New York, Glenn Stingel of Stanfordville, New York, Brian Stingel of New Port Richey, Florida. One niece and one nephew also survive. Many thanks to Arron Bonesteel, a true friend, for all his help and to all of the neighbors on Carly Road who helped Dan through this ordeal.

In addition to his parents a brother Allen Stingel predeceased him.
