Darlene Gill, 77, passed away March 31, 2026.

Darlene spent most of her life in Ulster county with some time in MA and NC. She married her high school sweetheart and spent 60+ years with him! She loved to garden and spent much of her retirement doing just that. In her earlier years, she enjoyed hiking and camping. Lake George and North Lake hold a special place in her and her family's hearts. She loved her puppies and treated them as family. But most of all, she loved being a mom! Her children and grandchild were her world!

Survived by husband Walter, three children Kristin, Jeff, Jonathan,  one grandson-Hunter. Also survived by her mother-Harriet, three siblings Donny, Cindy, Danny and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Preston and sister Karen.

Darlene will be greatly missed and forever remembered. She will be honored during a private family ceremony. In lieu of flowers, you may honor her memory with donations to local animal rescue groups and to the Alzheimer's association.
