Visiting hours will be held Monday, July 7th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Leahy Funeral Home in Kingston.

A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday July 8th 10:00 AM, at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

David Palumbo , resident of West Park, NY, died peacefully at home, June 29 at 10:00 am surrounded by his loving wife and children. Dave was born July 22th, 1965 in Wappinger Falls, NY, attended Ketcham High School and graduated in 1987 with an Electrical Engineering degree from Clarkson University.

After working briefly at both Westinghouse and IBM, Dave took an offer from Cadence Design Systems in 1992 where he worked as a Senior Engineer through the present. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Cousin, Nephew, Brother-in-law, Uncle, and Friend. His hobbies included reading, programming, golfing, playing pool, fishing, hiking, playing poker, and woodworking. Dave worked tirelessly, all his adult life, mostly in the service of others. His passing has created a monumental void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bernadette Palumbo, his 2 loving children, Daniel and Lilyanna, his parents, John and Gloria Palumbo of Wappinger Falls NY, his brother, Joe Palumbo of Spackenkill, NY, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews.
