Dawn Neal-Ellsworth, 51, of Kingston died Wednesday July 1, 2026 at Westchester Medical Center following a battle with cancer. She was born April 20, 1975 in Lanesville, a daughter of Bruce Neal and Julia Benjamin. She is the stepdaughter of Scott Benjamin, mother-in-law Diane Avery.

Dawn worked as a dental technician over fifteen years at Woodstock Family Dentistry. She was very active in the volunteer EMS community for most of her life and is current Captain of Woodstock Fire Department Co. # 5 Rescue Squad.

Surviving is her husband Steve Ellsworth, a daughter Ivy Ellsworth, a sister Stacey Neal and brother Bruce Neal, Jr.
