Deborah J. Carr

A celebration of life is being planned by the family.

Deborah J. Carr, 65, of Coxsackie died Friday November 10, 2023 at the Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla.  Born November 14, 1957 in Ogdensburg, New York, she was the daughter of the late Darrell H. and Barbara Jean (Dashnaw) Carr.

Deborah was employed by First Student in Coxsackie as a bus driver where she was beloved by both her coworkers and her students.  She enjoyed camping, hiking, spending time with friends and family, dancing and painting rocks as well as doing other arts and crafts.

Surviving are her sons, Todd Curtis, Michael Curtis and his wife Lavinia, Jason Curtis and his wife Krystle;  her grandchildren, Hailey, Ariana, Shawn and Riley;  her siblings, Hugh Carr, Becky Burns and Denise Pacht.  Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Her sister, Billie Jo Carr died previously.
