Debra L. Perry

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 AM at CrossRoads Christian Fellowship, 77 Albany Avenue Kingston, NY.

Debra L. Perry, 67, of Kingston died Tuesday March 12, 2024 at home with her loving family by her side. Born August 27, 1956 in Newburgh, New York she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Phyllis (Shafer) Hopkins.

Debra worked as a M.D.S. Coordinator for Archcare at Ferncliff Nursing Home where she retired in 2022 after 30 years of service. Debra devoted countless hours gardening and decorating her yard with beautiful flowers yearly. She also found great joy in lovingly caring for others during their time of need. But, her ultimate joy was her family. Being a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, was the greatest fulfillment of her heart .

Debra is survived by her son Vincent J. Perry Jr. and his wife Dara, daughter Heather Perry (Anthony) and her former husband Vincent J. Perry Sr. Grandchildren Grace Perry and Dominic Esposito. Siblings Gary Hopkins and Susan Lasher and her husband Tom. Her niece Amanda Lasher and nephew Thomas Lasher.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lekaj for his compassion and care, the nursing staff of Five Spellman for their outstanding care and Hudson Valley Hospice.
