Dennis Cooper

Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday January 26th from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

A graveside service will be held at Wiltwyck Cemetery at 2:30 pm.

Dennis Cooper, 63, of New Salem Road died at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jers ey on Thursday January 19, 2023 after a long illness. Born in Kingston on September 18, 1959 he is one of nine children of the late Theodore O. Cooper Sr. and Frances J. Cutting Cooper. Dennis was a faithful and loving husband, father and grandfather, who had a heart of gold. He and his wife owned and operated D&J Paving and Sealcoating, he enjoyed his leisure time to vacation with his family. His favorite destinations included Myrtle Beach,Virginia Beach and cruises. He had a passion for horses and got to ride prior to his illness.

Surviving are his wife of thirty six years, Joann (Suski) Cooper. Children; Kimberly, Stephanie, and Dennis (D.J.) Cooper Jr. A brother Rodney Cooper, two sisters Lydia Pugh and Denise Marin. Grandchildren; Aubree, Briella, Paislee, and Lottie. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was predeceased by grandchildren, Haylee, Kaylee and Dennis Cooper lll. Siblings, Theodore Jr., Jack, his twin Dean, Douglas, and Lottie Brooks.
