Diane Hoffstatter Brown

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday February 20th from 1PM until 2:30 PM. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM.

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Diane Hoffstatter Brown on February 16, 2023. Diane was one of ten children born in Kingston, NY to Lloyd and Carol Hoffstatter.

She graduated from John A. Coleman High School, and attended Ulster County Community College. Diane was always a hard worker. She worked at Woolworths uptown and at the Post Office before becoming a phlebotomist, where she worked in West Hurley and Woodstock. Diane spent many years, both professionally and privately as a Home Care Aid to the elderly and the disabled. She was kind, compassionate, and caring, and would always put others before herself. She enjoyed listening to music, crocheting, calligraphy, crossword puzzles, and bowling.

Diane leaves behind her wonderful son Dylan, whom she cherished deeply, and was immensely proud of. She was predeceased by her husband Jeffrey Brown, her parents, and her sister Victoria Trice.

Diane will be greatly missed by her son Dylan, her siblings Lloyd (Kate) Hoffstatter, Dirk Hoffstatter, Leslie Przekop (Wayne Berg), Terry (Russ) Voigtlaender, Mark (Annie) Hoffstatter, Sue (Keith) Kehoe, Bethany (Mark) Woodard, Glenn (Lynne) Hoffstatter, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the wonderful staff at Woodland Pond at New Paltz, who provided such compassionate and loving care for Diane and her family.
