Dolores M. Delamater

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 27th, 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Inurnment will follow at Montrepose Cemetery.

Dolores M. Delamater, 92, of Stone Ridge died Wednesday January 17, 2024 at TenBroeck Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born October 30, 1931 in Kingston she was the daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Schoenfeld) Schryver.

Dolores was a graduate of Kingston High School. She was a homemaker who created a beautiful home in Stone Ridge. It was filled with love for all of her family which included her six grandchildren. Dolores loved her flower gardens and caring for her flock of wild birds. Immanuel Lutheran church in Kingston, was an essential part of her life from baptism to schooling and her marriage there to Bert. Dolores also served as assisting minister, administered communion to the homebound and was a member of the church choir.

Dolores is survived by her children; Bruce Delamater and his wife Kathryn, Beth Delamater-Foertsch and her husband Jeffrey, and Dawn Delamater (Brian Hommel). Sisters; Elaine Rodden and her husband James, and Beverly Augustine. Grandchildren; Christopher Delamater, Ryan, Matthew and Rebecca Foertsch, and Brittany and Andrew Jarvis.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Berton.
