Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
A funeral procession will form at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 AM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph's Church.
Burial will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery.
Donald E. Boyce, 96, of Kingston died Saturday January 18, 2025 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born April 13, 1928 in New Salem, New York he was the son of Beatrice (Edge) and Wilson Boyce.
Donald served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was an employee for 39 years at IBM, beginning in Poughkeepsie, then at the Kingston plant where he held several managerial positions and became a member of IBM's Quarter Century Club. He always loved music and was a member of the Port Ewen Fife and Drum and Bugle Corp and the IBM Choir. He was a member of Trail Sweepers Ski Club and enjoyed many sports including skiing, swimming, tennis, softball, ice skating, golfing and fishing. Donald and Patricia loved the ocean and enjoyed many winters in Florida. Most of all he enjoyed the wonderful years with his family which consisted of three children, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Donald is survived by his wife of seventy-seven years Patricia (Carboni) Boyce, his children; Gail Russo and her husband Richard, Kathleen Tiano and her husband Frank and Donald Boyce and his wife Cathy. Grandchildren; Dean Russo and his wife Andrea, Burke Russo, Lance Russo and Audrey Weiner, Frank Tiano and his wife Kerri, Mark Tiano and his wife Samantha, Bethany (Boyce) Tallerman and her husband Cole, Zachary Boyce and his wife Amanda, and Tami Ulbrandt and her husband Mike. Great grandchildren; Karinsa Russo, Leanne Russo, Mason Tiano, Madisyn Tiano, Sophia Boyce and Brody Boyce.
Donald's family would like to thank Hudson Valley Hospice for their kind support, guidance and services. And we will be forever grateful to Don's caregiver, Sophie, for her very special loving care and kindness. She is truly an angel who has become part of our family.
