Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday June 21st from 1-3 PM.

Burial will be private at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Donald Perry, 83, of the Town of Ulster died Wednesday June 17, 2026 at Taconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Ulster. He was born in 1943 in Kingston, New York, the son of the late Dominic and Viola (Altomari) Perry.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Patricia (Slater) Perry; his son, David Perry, and his spouse, Robert Tigue; his daughter, Diane Batista, and her husband, Tony; his granddaughters, Samantha Batista and Alexandra Kane, and her husband, Ben; and his great-granddaughter, Carmen Kane.

Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be made in the form of contributions to Hudson Valley Hospice.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the management and staff of the First Floor Unit of Taconic for their kindness, patience, and friendship during Don’s time in their care.
