Donna M. Smedman, 70, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday June 28, 2023 at home. Born January 28, 1953 in Kingston, she is the daughter of the late Francis J. Woods, Sr. and Grace Woods.

Donna worked for New York State Department of Motor Vehicles prior to raising her daughter. She then went back to work for the Kingston City School District as a typist for over ten years. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, especially to the beach. She will be remembered as being very creative, with a talented artistic ability.

Surviving is her daughter Laura Smedman, a brother Frank Woods, Jr. and his wife Rebecca, aunt Goldie Robitaille. Many cousins and nieces also survive.

In addition to her parents, her husband Christopher Smedman predeceased her.
