Doris Ann Lister

Doris Ann, Lister, 88, passed away on February 12, 2026 at Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury. Born August 26, 1937, She was the daughter of the late George and Solveig (Berge)  Jonassen.

Doris was a paralegal. Doris was known for her charm and wholesome nature. She moved through life with elegance and a sparkle that's difficult to replicate. She radiated at her parties and dinners that she loved to host. She loved socializing and had the gift of gab. It was an ongoing joke that Doris was so engaged in meals and Bruce would have to finally encourage her to take her first bite. She was an active member in her community and church, and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Doris taught us to fight for what we believe in. She was adamant about the importance of education and following our dreams.

Doris is survived by her daughter: Lauri Vanucchi, her grandchildren Jesse and Melody, and her great-grandchild Ben.

In addition to her parents, Doris is predeceased by her brother Robert Jonassen.
