Doris Anne Petruski

A funeral service will be held Monday 1:30 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery.

It is with solemn hearts that we announce the passing of Doris Anne Petruski on November 10, 2023.  Born on November 24, 1936, to Theophil (David) Piotrowski and Augusta Minnie (nee Weal), she was a lifelong resident of Kingston, New York.

Doris graduated from St. Peter's School and Kingston High School.  She received her associate degree from SUNY Ulster and worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and Scholars Home Appliances for many years.  She enjoyed singing in the St. Joseph Catholic Church choir, making arts and crafts, sewing her own clothes, doing puzzles, and spending time with family.

She is survived by one brother Robert and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents and several siblings, Mildred Anderson, Dorothy, Eugene, Andrew, Verna Gibble, Walter, and Edward died previously.
