Friends will be received at the funeral home at Friday, August 9th, at 11:00am.

A funeral home service will be at 11:30am.

Burial will follow at Wiltwyck Cemetery.

Dorothy Hamilton , 75, of Kingston passed away July 29th, 2024 at Hudson Valley Rehabilitation and Extended Care Center. She was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica to Ralph and Vida (Wynter) Allen.

Dorothy worked as a secretary for various law firms and was particularly skilled in shorthand. She was the wife of Winston Hamilton

In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by her daughters: Angela Sherrington, Paulette Trought, and Charmaine Trought. She is also survived by three sisters: Earleen Allen, Hyacinth Allen, and Valerie Allen. Grandchildren Jermaine Campbell, Laveshia Campbell (The Late) Tiffany Perry, Andre Lorne, Shaunte Soman, Shakena Soman, Leneshia McLean and Romir Blake. Nine great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family members and friends who loved her.
