Douglas J. Bigler, 68, of Lake Katrine died Wednesday September 13, 2023 at Albany Medical Center. Born July 13, 1955, he is the son of the Lorraine (Hughes) Bigler and the late Winfield John Bigler.

Doug worked at Shoprite for many years, he loved music-especially classic rock. He loved animals,particularly cats, he will always be remembered for his distinctive laugh. Above all, he loved being a grandfather to his grandson Jayce Ryan.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his daughter Kaylee Bigler, his beloved grandson Jayce Ryan, siblings Robin Willis and her husband Jim, Mark Bigler. Nephews Kyle Willis and his wife Ali, Dylan Willis (Gianna), Shane Bigler and his wife Katie. Several great nieces and nephews, as well as his feline companions Baby, Smoky, Dusty and Blue also survive.

In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his brothers Kevin, Darrin and Gary Bigler and nephews Keith and Jamie Bigler.
