Durwin Wesley Ennist, II affectionately known as Dur Dur, 41 of Kingston NY, passed suddenly Sunday January 15, 2023. Durwin was born on July 28, 1981 to Cheron Boler and the late Durwin W. Ennist Sr in Kingston NY.
Durwin a graduate from Kingston High School in 1999, He attend Ulster Community College. After graduating High School, he had several work experiences; Stewarts Ice Cream Shop, The Boys and Girls Club of Kingston, Benedictine Hospital, UGARC Residential Staff Pidone House. He worked as a Private Health Care provider. Durwin loved sports. Starting with pop warner football and played up to high school. Durwin was known for collecting and displaying his array of fitted hats. He loved music and also wrote songs and collaborated with his brother Shi. He was very creative with writing, drawing and poetry. He loved spending time with both sides of his family. Durwin was an original member of the group POOK "Percussion Orchestra of Kingston".
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Cheron Boler and his children, E'Vion and E'Nisa Patton, Derion Barnes, JadeKrysti Ennist. His siblings Shi Ennist, Tony Boler , sis in-law Alrica Boler, Stepbrothers and sisters. Michael Barksdale, Paulette Barksdale-Scott, Dedra Ennist-Smith, Amber Ennist. Surviving grandparent George W Ennist Sr. Maternal & Paternal aunt & uncles Michael & Monica Jones, Stephanie Hickock, Doraline Dixon-(Dee), Helen Ennist & Terry, Doreise Oliver, Carmen Ennist, Anthony Ennist, Naomi & Barry Futrell, Joanne Myers. Godparents; Harold Roach and Ethel Knox, God brother and sister Deshong Roach and Naimah Muhammad. A host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends also survive.
He was predeceased in death by his father Durwin Wesley Sr, his Maternal and Paternal grandparents Joan Cummings, Richard D. Boler Sr, Vivian Jones, his uncles and aunts Richard Boler Jr., Donald Ennist, George W. Ennist II., Gwendolyn Mollette, Toni Knox, Denise Bartte, Ursula Bartte-Graves.
Durwin's memory will live and remain in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved him. He will FOREVER be missed.*We apologize in advance if mistakenly omitted anyone from this obituary*
