Edna "May" Dougherty

Services will be private at the family plot in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Edna "May" Dougherty, 105, formerly of Third Avenue Kingston passed away peacefully Monday July 3, 2023 at TenBroeck Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Katrine. Born May 11, 1918 in Port Ewen, she is the daughter of the late George and Annie Walker.

Mrs. Dougherty worked at Hercules Powder Company in Port Ewen before her retirement.

Surviving is her son George Dougherty and his wife Bonnie of Scottsdale, Arizona. She is also survived by Robert Kofler, her devoted son-in-law and Diane Golnick, a dear friend.
May's husband George Dougherty and daughter Carol Dougherty Kofler predeceased her.
