Edward Blasso

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 4pm to 7pm.

Edward Blasso, 91, of Lake Katrine died Monday, October 14th, 2024, at Westchester Medical Center. He was born on July 8th, 1933 to the late Michael and Jennie (Frissola) Blass.

Edward was married to Rose Marie Blasso who passed away earlier this year. Edward enjoyed spending his time playing bingo and going to Off-Track Betting.

Edward is survived by his children: Jennifer Blasso, Donna Caston and her husband Walter, Ralph Blasso and his wife Kari, Jeffrey Blasso and his wife Lynda, and Martha Thiel and her husband Ronald, Kevin Blasso, Sr., who he raised as a son, Frank Blasso and his wife Karen and June Robinson. Twenty Four Grandchildren as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Two sons, Charles and James Blasso, a grandson, Travis Thiel, and a granddaughter, Shelby Newkirk predeceased Edward. He is also predeceased by his siblings: William Blass, Louis Blass, Sr., Faith Purcell, Rose Menna, Antoinette Yobs, Florence Bianco, Carmine Blass, Antonio Blass, and Palma Gacia.
