Friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Wednesday April 29 from 4pm to 7pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday April 30 at 10am. Burial will follow at Rosendale Plains Cemetery.

Edward Oliver Sicker , 92 of Bayard Street died Friday April 17th, 2026 surrounded by his family. Born February 25th, 1934 in Kingston, he is the son of the late Francis and Pearl (Houston) Sickler. Ed is survived by his daughters, Bernice Terwilliger and her husband William, Darlene Sickler, Susan Williams, Kim Peterman, Thelma Golnek, Nicole Clausi and her husband Patrick, Melissa Wells and her husband Andrew, his grandsons who he raised as his sons: Edward Sickler and his wife Nicole, Chris McCarthy and his wife Kira, Josh Sickler, Bill Sickler and his wife Lisa, and Michael Sickler and his wife Brittany, grandchildren: Melanie Sickler, Samantha Augustine, Samuel Peterman, Kasi Peterman, Courtney Golnek, Gabrielle Clausi, and Isabella Clausi, 39 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, sister Roberta Krom and brothers Ray and Thomas Sickler. Many Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Ed started as a business owner of Eddie's Construction with his daughter Darlene Sickler, then ventured on to be a mechanic at Toyota for 25 years. After retiring from Toyota, it wasn't too long until he became bored and worked the next 30 plus years as a custodian at JW Bailey Middle School. He retired from JW Bailey at 90 years old. In his leisure, Ed enjoyed working on classic old cars. He rebuilt his own 56' Chevy. He also enjoyed going to car shows, shooting darts, bowling, watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports and mostly spending time with his family.

Ed is predeceaed by his wife Bernice Ricketson Sickler, daughter Debra Place, granddaughter Amanda Peterman, son-in-law David Golnek, brothers George and Francis (Speed) Sickler, and sisters Janie Ennis, Pearl Marello, and Rose Brochu.
