Elizabeth "Betty" Davis

The family will hold a private internment in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery in Barclay Heights.

Elizabeth Davis, 94, of Glasco died Saturday August 15, 2026 at Northern Dutchess Hospital. She was born April 20, 1932 in Saugerties, NY a daughter of the late Joseph, Sr. & Elvira (Fondino) Scarselli.

A lifelong resident, Betty married the late Chester W. Davis Jr. on May 27, 1951. She worked at the former Saugerties Pharmacy. Betty enjoyed Bingo & going on trips to the casino. She liked the simple things in life. She had a wit about her & a big heart. Betty was a devout Catholic & was a lifetime parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Glasco.

She is survived by her nieces & nephews, Rosemarie "Mimi" Corrado, Joseph S. Scarselli, Louis Scarselli, Chris Hansen & Susan Fonda as well as her dear family friend Maria Golowaty.

She was predeceased by her husband Chester W. Davis, Jr. & siblings: Anthony J. Scarselli, Rose Howell & Joseph L. Scarselli, Jr.
