Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:30 to 12:00.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 12:30 PM at Saint Mary's Church.
Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery.
Ellen Ann Lynch, age 75, passed away at TenBroeck Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Ellen's long journey with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a devastating and rare neurological illness, is over.
Ellen was a life long resident of Kingston, NY. She was born February 25, 1948 to Francis and Nellie Partlan Lynch. She was a life long member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ellen was also a friend of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Ellen graduated from Kingston High School and Ulster County Community College, where she earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration. She worked in the Ulster County Treasurer's Office as an account clerk. Ellen enjoyed her home. She had a "green thumb" in growing her flowers. She also enjoyed decorating for all of the holidays.
Ellen is survived by several cousins: Elizabeth Lynch, Marlee Paige, Judith Hansen, Joan Hansen, William Roedell and Christopher Zell. She is also survived by two caring friends, Janet Hutton and Phyllis Hutton. A sincere thank you goes out to all those who contributed to Ellen's comfort and care at TenBroeck Center, especially the Nursing and Nursing Assistant Staff of the Ashokan Unit. Thank you for all you did for Ellen including your loving care and kindness. And thank you to Hilda and Jennifer for your acts of kindness.
