Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 4pm to 7pm.

A Home Going service will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 10:30 am.

Family presided inurnmnet will be in Montrepose Cemetery.

ELMIRA "BETTY"  KITHCART

Elmira Elizabeth "Betty" Kithcart of Main Street, Kingston, New York died peacefully at her home with her family at her side. She was 89.

Born in Kingston December 6,1933, she is a daughter of the late Charles D. Bassett Sr. and Beatrice (Enty) Bassett.

Mrs. Kithcart was employed for 44 years as a CNA at The Ulster County Infirmary now known as Golden Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a devoted mother to not only her children but a friend to anyone that was lucky enough to have known her.

Surviving are her sister Renee Evans-Mohammed and children; Diane Marie (Kithcart) Hymes, Gary Stephen Kithcart, and Dawn Leslie (Kithcart) Hymes.

Grandchildren include Leslie Danyelle (Hymes) Paris, Bradon Singleton Hymes, Damon Bradford Hymes, Dezarhae Elizabeth (Hymes) Otis, and Nicole Theresa Falero.

Great-grandchildren include Xaia Rose Paris, Kian Marshall Paris, Quinn Rae Otis, Scarlett Nicole Hymes, Susan Reid Hymes, Sofia Dawn Hymes, and Layla Caroline Falero.

Predeceased by her husband Marshall Kithcart Sr., her son Marshall Kithcart Jr, and her siblings George Bassett, Gail Bassett, Charles "Chuck" David Bassett Jr, Linda Bassett, Marsha (Bassett) Curtis, Michael Bassett, Raymond Evans, Toni Bassett, Bruce Evans, and Wilford "Billy" Bassett.
