Emily T. Bonneau

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 29, 2023 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph's Church, 242  Wall Street, Kingston, NY 12401.

Emily T. Bonneau, 78, of Saugerties died on Friday April 14th, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Martha Piccarelli. Emily was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Bonneau.

Emily was employed at the Rondout Valley School for thirty years as Head Secretary for Building and Grounds. Prior to that she was Head Nurse at New York Foundling Hospital and also was a new born nurse at Syosset Hospital. Emily was a master seamstress in her business "Emily's Alterations and Original Designs". She had many loyal customers in her former hometown of Kingston New York and Calabash, North Carolina.

Emily was a woman of strong faith in God. She was full of love for all her family and friends. Emily is survived by her loving son John D. Ruffner and his wife Maria of Saugerties, NY. Her two grandchildren that she adored Dr. Alyssa Peterson and her husband Nicholas of Rochester, NY and Andrew Ruffner and his fiancée Miggan Fitzgerald of Saugerties, NY. Emily is also survived by her brother John Piccarelli and his wife Claudia of North Carolina.
