Eugene Metsopulos

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday April 24, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm and again later that evening from 7pm - 9pm.

A procession will form at the funeral home 10:45am on Friday April 25, 2025 that will lead to Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum for 11:00am Military Honors.

Cremation and Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Eugene Metsopulos, 76, of Kingston passed away on Monday April 21, 2025 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born November 4, 1948, he was the son of George and Stella (Karboski) Metsopulos.

A United States Air Force Veteran serving in The Vietnam War, he is the recipient of the Vietnam Service Medal with one bronze star. He was employed by Anaconda Sports as a shipping clerk where he was called "Metro" by his co-workers. He then would do small carpentry jobs part time. Eugene enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles and trying his luck winning it big at scratch offs.

Eugene is survived by his children: Sandra Dee Marshall and her significant other Jim Whitaker, Bruce Cogswell, and Richard Cogswell and his wife Jo. He is also survived by his siblings: George Metsopulos, Celeste Metsopulos, and Michelle Lowe, his grandchildren: Heather, Tricia, Kyle, Cory, Justin, and Zachary. Many great-grandchildren nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife June Rose (Dunne) Metsopulos.
