Francis J. Woods Jr., 72, of Saugerties died suddenly Sunday February 4, 2024. Born December 5, 1951 in Kingston he was the son of the late Francis J. and Grace (Sabo) Woods Sr.

Francis worked as a Master Electrician for Ulster County Buildings and Grounds. He enjoyed spending time working on his vehicles and could always be found outside working in his yard.

Francis is survived by his wife Rebecca (Plyler) Woods and they would have celebrated their forty-seventh wedding anniversary on February 12th. His daughters; Sara Briggerman and her husband Jeffrey of Taylorville, IL and Valerie Woods of Orlando, FL. Grandchildren; Spencer Briggerman (Andrea), Emmett Briggerman, Blair Smith husband Nolan, great grandchild Asher James Smith as well as his canine companion Hudson "Little Buddy".

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Donna Smedman.
