Frank Allen Boice, Jr.

A graveside service will take place at Hurley Cemetery 11 AM on Thursday August 6. 

Frank Allen Boice, 64, passed away on June 27, 2026, at his home of residence in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born April 25, 1962, in Kingston, New York, Frank had a passion for music and culinary arts. In his teenage and young adult years he was a member of a band where he played the electric guitar. His passion continued throughout his adult life as displayed in his continued playing of the guitar at any chance he got and his appreciation for music.

His passion for culinary arts led him to attend classes at the Culinary Institute of America and he worked in various roles to include Executive Chef. He had the honor to cook a lunch for former president George Bush and received several 5 Star reviews. He was an avid grower of jalapeno and ghost peppers, where he would nurture them and use them in his culinary cuisines. Frank enjoyed his sports car and enjoyed going on rides with his fiancée, Beverly.

He is survived by his Fiancée, daughter, mother, grandchildren, sister, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his father and great nephew.

We want to send a special thank you to his fiancée Beverly for standing by his side for the past 15 years and being there for him on his final days.

Frank will be remembered for his warmth, friendship, music and the joy he brought to every plate he prepared.
