Franklin Joseph Bell Jr.

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

A funeral home service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM.

Burial to follow at Montrepose Cemetery.

Franklin Joseph Bell Jr., 70, of Ulster Park died Wednesday July 29, 2026 at HealthAlliance Hospital Mary's Avenue Campus. Born November 12, 1955 in Kingston he was the son of the late Franklin and Ida Mae (Starr) Bell Sr.

Franklin was a United State Marines Corps Veteran serving at the end of the Vietnam War. Upon discharge began a life of hard work never missing a day. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Franklin is survived by his wife Judith (Latimore) Bell, his children; Tessa Pendell and her husband William, Joseph Bell and his wife Shamieka, Anthony Bell, Daniel Bell (Kimberly Litts) and Roger Bell, sister Debbie Bell and his adopted brother Robert Bell. Grandchildren; Patience, Meli, Michael, Debra, Joseph Jr., Bryonna, Marianna, Ida, Megan, Matthew, Daniel Jr., Angela and Colton. Great Grandchildren; Calvin, Isabella, Meli, Mateo and many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Fran Bell and Rosemary Jansen and great grandson Juan Diego.
