Freda A. Barley

Freda A. Barley , longtime resident of the Town of Ulster died Friday September 20, 2024 at HealthAlliance Hospital:Mary's Avenue Campus, she was 98. Freda was born in Ashokan on September 21, 1925, a daughter of the late Roy and Addie VanDemark.

Freda worked in the inspection department for Semi-Films, a division of National Micronetics. Freda loved to be outside working with her flowers and walking her cat Socks. She enjoyed shopping with her friends and neighbors and also spending time with family.

She lost her son Pete Barley March 9, 2022. She is survived buy her two daughters Freda Sinnott (Kenny), Carol Noland (Danny Doles) also daughter-in-law Karen Kyle. She has three grandchildren Debbie, Lisa & Bill, four great grandchildren Bill, Auggie, Stephanie and Amy  as well as one great-great grandchild Luka and special friend Hunter.
