Gene Carl Stoutenburg, Jr.

Gene Carl Stoutenburg, Jr., 52, died Sunday June 14, 2026 at HealthAlliance Hospital:Mary's Avenue Campus. He was born July 15, 1973 in Kingston, a son of Gene Carl Stoutenburg, Sr. and Donna Smith.

Gene was employed for the Ulster County Sheriff's Office in the Corrections Division as a Sergeant. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing, and especially enjoyed long rides with his father scouting wildlife.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his children Paige and Robert Stoutenburg, a sister Shannon Jones and nephew Keith Jones. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
