George Baxter

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday July 23rd from 11 AM until 12:30 PM.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 and burial will follow in Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.

George Baxter, 91 , of Kingston died Saturday July 19, 2025. He was born October 16, 1933 in Plattekill a son of the late George and Olive (Craig) Baxter.

Mr. Baxter served our country in the United States Army and worked in his earlier years in the cement industry in Rosendale and worked in maintenance for many years at Ulster County Community College.

Surviving are his two daughters Michele Young and Mandy Baxter, both of Downsville as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. His brother Robert Baxter also survives as well as nieces and nephews. Two sisters Ora Boughton and Juanita Lent predeceased him.
